Yoga and Pilates

One-on-one and small group private classes are offered in Yoga and Pilates.  

Yoga- Private yoga sessions can help with injury rehabilitation, reducing stress and anxiety, sleep problems, headaches, digestive issues and much more. Yoga can also help to increase strength and flexibility in a balanced and focused way. These sessions include asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques) and meditation. They are very individualized and catered to you. Katie has been teaching yoga for 20 + years, is certified 500hr Experienced registered yoga teacher and lots of experience working with injuries and all levels of students. 

Pilates- Pilates mat work can help with injury rehabilitation and core strength. Pilates teaches you how to strengthen your core in a balanced and healthy way to protect your back and prevent injuries. Exercises are preformed seated, lying on your back, stomach and standing. Small props like rings, light weights and bands can be used as well.  Katie has 20+ years experience teaching pilates mat work and lots of experience helping all levels of students. She is also a certified Personal Trainer through ACSM.
